Rear "H" Apron with Crank Handle Opening - Split Beetle, up to 1950

Introducing a must for your Split or Oval Beetle up to 1950: our meticulously crafted "H" pattern Rear Apron. Designed for cars with a single tip muffler, this product is die stamped and crafted from 1mm sheet metal, with every curve and radius an exact match for your classic vehicle. This special version features the opening for the crank handle used on the very early version of the Beetle.

Quality and Craftsmanship

Correct 5 "V" shaped reinforcement stampings at the bottom. These were only used up to 1955 (Single Tip) and make all the difference when it comes to originality. With a commitment to authenticity, our Rear Apron has been reproduced using a NOS counterpart, replicating the original in every way.

What's Included

Our Rear Apron is also accompanied by the metal strip for the rubber decklid seal. However, these are now shipped separately and not pre-welded anymore. Since not everybody needs it we decided to offer our apron with or without the inner valance and this can optionally be added to the purchase.
