Front Bumper Bracket, Left, with Horn Support - Split Beetle up to 1949

This specific front left bumper bracket was only used on the Standard Split Beetle up to May 1949 with the "Banana" style bumper brackets.

Fit

Did you know Split Beetle bumper brackets differ from later style brackets by 4 specific means? They have smaller bolt holes, different bend radiuses, are 2-layer style and of course don't have the same length as the later style. The most important and apparent detail is having the correct bend radius, as it will be exposed to the outside and very noticeable - we form it using an actual stamping die, not just an industrial bending machine.

Application

There is an extra feature that makes this one very special: the extra support for the external horn. All of our bumper brackets are made of spring steel and quality powder coated. Ready to install in your Beetle.
