This special tool was previously available as Matra 80 and is indispensable for removing your hinge pin without brute force. Of course, you can drill out the pin or heat the hinge and knock it out with a hammer, but this will also damage the paintwork. Naturally, you want to avoid this unless you are carrying out a restoration. 

Simply place this press on the hinge and tighten the bolt to drive out the hinge pin. Start with the smallest pin and replace it with progressively longer ones until the pin is out.
