Cross Member, Beetle, Split & Oval, up to 1955, Right 111801202 DKB
This is the closest you’ll get to an original early-Beetle rear cross member without cutting one out of a museum car. DKB stamps this panel from 1.0 mm automotive-grade sheet steel, using proper deep-draw tooling to reproduce every curve, recess, and mounting detail exactly as Volkswagen designed it.
No patchwork welding, no “close enough” aftermarket geometry.
This is a full one-piece pressing, dimensionally correct, crisp, and ready to install without fighting the fit.
Built specifically for Oval Beetles from 1946-1956, this cross member restores the structural rigidity of the rear chassis area the way the factory intended.
