Taillight housing left and right complete VW beetle brezel up to 9.1952 ref no. 111945111+12A
Correct Taillight Housings for Split Beetle from 1950 until 1952. Commonly known as the “round style” taillights. Pair.
Made from high-quality steel and featuring a precision die-stamped design. With an exact fit and long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion, our taillight housings are designed to meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Our Taillight Housings are simply the best available in the market. Yes, we do know there are others available. However, since the tooling needed in order to make them in the exact same way VW did back in the 1950s there is a lot of investment needed.
Deep drawn stamping dies are the only way to achieve housings that look and feel exactly like the originals. Problem is deep drawn stamping dies are expensive. That is why you can find some reproductions out there that simply look and feel funny. We at DKB invested thousands of dollars for the right tooling and it did pay off. We now have original standard housings available for all the early VW models: Split “Round” (1950-52), “Heart” (1952-55) and “Egg” (1954-55 US Only) Taillights.
By using high-quality and period-correct sheet metal parts, you can retain the authenticity and value of your classic car while also ensuring its safety and longevity. So, whether you are a collector, a restorer, or a classic car enthusiast, it's crucial to invest in the best possible parts for your vehicle.
