headlight-to-body seal (OEM reference
111 941 129) is an absolute must-have during any front-end rebuild or paint job. It installs directly between the headlight chrome rim (or headlight assembly frame) and the metal body/fender.
Compatibility & Fitment
This seal is a universal fit for classic Volkswagen models from the 1968 model year onwards (equipped with upright/vertical headlight configurations):
- VW Beetle / Bug & 1302/1303: All models from 08/1967 until the end of production (including Mexican Bugs).
- VW Bus T2 (Bay Window): Model years 08/1967 to 07/1979 (T2a and T2b setups).
- VW Thing (Type 181 / Trekker / Kubel): All model years.
- VW Type 3 (1500/1600): All models from 08/1963 to 07/1973.
